Bollywood’s Big B, Amitabh Bachchan owns a beautiful house ‘Jalsa’ (meaning celebration) in Juhu, Mumbai. Initially, the house was named ‘Mansa’ (meaning an emperor), but it was later changed to ‘Jalsa’ on an astrologer’s recommendation.
The double-storeyed’ house spread across a sprawling area of 10,123 sq. ft. and was gifted to Amitabh Bachchan by the famous director Ramesh Sippy after Amitabh Bachchan completed the shoot of the famous movie ‘Satte Pe Satta’ with him. Also, many of Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic movies like ‘Chupke Chupke’ and ‘Anand’ were shot inside Jalsa.
The legendary actor’s house ‘Jalsa’ is estimated at around 120 crores. Known to be a temple for many aspiring actors, Jalsa witnesses thousands of tourists visiting the house from across the globe to glimpse the evergreen actor. Jalsa is designed with a beautiful garden, front porch, plush rugs, huge chandeliers, royal paintings and a lot more.
